BlackBerry Curve Number One Selling Smartphone In The U.S.

According to Port-Washington, New York based researcher, NPD, the BlackBerry Curve 83xx was the number one selling smartphone in the United States last quarter, again , edging out the iPhone 3G S and iPhone 3G which took 2nd and 3rd places respectively.  The BlackBerry Storm and the BlackBerry Tour rounded out the top 5 following in the 4 and 5 spots. There are several new BlackBerry devices out this quarter, namely the BlackBerry Storm2, BlackBerry Curve 85xx, and the BlackBerry Bold 9700.  It will be interesting to see if the original Curve can maintain a spot in the top five.
