Shozu is now going from “free” to “fee.” On the heels of ShoZu’s new leadership announcement last week, the company plans to unveil its new corporate strategy and paid app store model today at Mobile 2.0 in Barcelona. Though currently only available on Apple’s iTunes app store, ShoZu will soon be accessible through additional stores and outlets, to be announced at a later date. Distribution through additional stores such as Nokia’s Ovi, RIM’s BlackBerry App World and Microsoft’s Windows Mobile Marketplace will be announced. The application also continues to be available from London-based ShoZu at www.shozu.com and its mobile site at m.shozu.com. The ShoZu application currently is available from Apple’s App Store for $4.99 and a similar price point will be used for App World.
